Lemons: Mix one cup of lemon juice with four cups of warm water is a plastic bowl, then dip the towel in the mixture and clean the counters, inside the pantry and cupboard, and clean every surface of your kitchen and mop the floor with the solution, mostly at doorways and baseboard. The lemon repels the ants entering into your kitchen. Even any citrus fruit, including orange peels and cucumber rinds work equally to get rid of ants in your kitchen.

Spices and Herbs: some of the spices and herbs that are available in your kitchen can work as an ant repellant. Sprinkle some cinnamon powder all over your kitchen including doorways, windows, countertop, pantry shelves, cupboards and wherever you see ants. The strong cinnamon smell works like a repellant and helps you to get rid of ants in your home.
